Bamboo is a very strong natural product and also very flexible, which results in a very high durability level. Bamboo is very light in colour but can react strongly to the environment. Maintenance All bamboo furniture is pre-treated to slow down the ageing process. To increase the lifespan, it is recommended that the furniture is treated once a year with special Bamboo Protector. Any stains can be sanded down with a light sandpaper prior to treatment. Protect the furniture from rain, night and winter with a plastic film or protective cover. If possible, it is better for the furniture to be stored indoors for the winter. Always make sure that the furniture cannot stand in a puddle of water, or that water remains on the furniture after a rainfall. The water will soak into the furniture and leave marks after a while.
