The Curtis Damask print by Thibaut has been carried over from Damask Resource 3 in its best-selling colourway. This classic damask is all about the layers! Foil is applied to paper, then the cork is mounted on top of the foil, and then the medieval motif is printed in metallic on the foil. 3 new and sophisticated colourways are introduced in this collection. The use of a white background accentuates the gold damask pattern and the textural ‘cracks’ reveal a silvery foil material ensuring that the damask print is visible and the details are obvious.

If you are looking for a truly regal designer wallpaper design, the Curtis T89116 in metallic gold on white is a contrasting grey and gold damask print consisting of flecks of silver foil and rough textures for an old and authentic appearance and texture. Unlike some of the larger prints where the negative space/ background is larger than the damask motif, the Curtis damask print is small and repetitive with small areas of white negative space. As a result, the print is very quiet and intricate with the detail only being visible on closer inspection.
