Unique, vibrant and lively prints and styles are exclusive to the design style that belongs to Kirkby Design. The brand was introduced in early September 2009 as an alternative and abstract design house that introduces bold style, engaging prints and vivid colours to the home or commercial space. The stylish designer brand has developed a variety of wallpaper coverings and soft furnishings that highlight their unique style. The vivacious collection above focuses on Kirkby Design's bold and exciting designer cushions. Each stylish design within the vibrant collection above shows a range of collaborative prints with other artists, designers, and companies. These collaborations are unique and inventive, so if you are looking to present colour, pattern and style into your interior design scheme, the above collection is where to start.
One of Kirkby Design's collaboration is with Eley Kishimoto, the geometrical patterns and vibrant colours shown are inspired by 1970s design, whilst also introducing a modern and contemporary twist. The cushions featuring these patterns are made from luxurious and opulent fabrics that accentuate the sophisticated designs. Also in Kirkby Design's cushion collection is the collaboration with Jon Burgerman. The designer has developed eleven designs that evoke a fun, vibrant and characterful appearance. The playfulness and artistry that is produced on paper has been captured and translated into fabrics, wallpaper, and cushions, allowing Jon Burgerman's work to enter people's lives so directly, whether that is on a cushion, wall or sofa. The high quality of the fabric is so excellent, that it gives the impression artist Jon Burgerman has come in and drawn directly drawn on the furniture, wall or cushion.
Another intriguing collaboration is a pairing with Transport for London (TFL), the idea was to recreate five very iconic moquette designs that have been taken from the archive and reworked to a create a selection of modern and contemporary velvets that bring warmth in touch and look. Similarly, this retro look continues with the Arco Geometrics cushions. The innovative designs introduce geometric patterns with glistening metallic yarns that produce a luxurious and lavish aesthetic. This elaborate collection of cushions has plenty of stylish, bold, vibrant prints as well as muted and subtle geometrics. Therefore, there is a style suitable for a variety of interior design schemes.
